Who We Are

Peterson Integrated Communications Limited (PICL), with acronym Peterson, is a private limited company, established in Nairobi, Kenya in 2016. Our focus is on Strategic Communication, offering a range of niche services in that realm. Led by a team of professionals of global repute, Peterson has distinguished itself as a leader in provision of unique strategic communication services in Africa in general and Kenya in particular. We have our footprints in Kenya, East Africa, Africa and indeed the globe through a chain of partner institutions whom we work with.

Peterson is the first company to become a member of Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management (GA) in the membership category of training institutes. We are members of the Association of PR and Communication Management Firms in Kenya (APReCoM) and we work closely with Africa PR Association (APRA), who endorses our strategic communication training programmes.

EXECUTIVE COACHING AND TRAINING

Peterson has developed niche training programmes in strategic communication, stakeholder management and leadership, which are offered on schedule in various dates of the year. The programmes range from one day coaching sessions to five day intensive communication trainings. Our preferred training venue is the resort city of Mombasa and the lakeside town of Naivasha at the floor of the Great Rift Valley.

These training programmes are designed to attract participants from all over Africa. Peterson’s flagship coaching programme is called The Power of Communication: Skills to Build trust, Inspire Loyalty and Lead Effectively. This is a programme that targets senior leaders (governors, ministers, board chairpersons, directors, CEOs, heads of functions and equivalent positions.

Since establishment in 2016, Peterson has accumulated a portfolio of reputable clients in public sector, private sector, Non-profits, multinationals, the UN and other global organisations. We deliver professional, dynamic, creative and innovative range of skills, counsel and services for some of the largest and best known companies across various sectors.

Our dynamic list of esteemed clients provide a rich mix of senior leaders and organisations represented in the following sectors;

Finance and Insurance: we have trained leaders from large insurance companies and provided media relations to a couple of others. Our leadership communication programme has also been offered to institutions providing a wide range of financial services.

Trade: Our leadership communication and public speaking training programme has been offered to companies in trade promotion and networking

Aviation: We have counseled and trained aviation leaders and companies on communication and stakeholder management.

Health commodities distribution and logistics: Peterson has trained the board and senior leadership of the leading health commodities distribution and logistics company in Kenya, providing them with skills to build trust, inspire loyalty and lead effectively.

Professional services organisation: We provide strategic communication training to country and continental PR associations. Through online training done in collaboration with GA, Peterson has reached a huge audience of global PR and communication professionals, especially at a time when the world is facing the global Covid 19 crisis.

Government: We have provided communication services to county governments as well as national government in Kenya, and through APRA, support Africa to inculcate a new image away from what used to be referred to as Dark Continent.

Agriculture: Peterson’s training tentacles have reached institutions in the agricultural sector in Kenya and the Eastern Africa region.

Transport and Construction: We have trained leaders from construction and road transport sectors, helping fortify to skills to communicate effectively.

Energy: Our strategic communication and leadership communication coaching has been offered to executives in energy generation and oil transportation companies

Water: In our portfolio are water and sewerage distribution companies.

Social security: Peterson has coached executives from the National Social Security Fund on strategic communication and media relations.

Institutions of higher learning and other training regulatory corporations: Peterson has designed and executed tailored training in leadership communication for university leaderships as well as training regulatory organisations (National Industrial Training Authority)

UN: Peterson has offered strategic communication and stakeholder collaboration services to the UN-Habitat, among other UN agencies. Our team of consultants has been involved in UN engagements on strategic communication and media relations
